Sunderland are looking to make additions in the January transfer window, despite being in good form of late.

Sunderland have won nine games on the bounce and climbed into the automatic promotion spaces in League One.
The Black Cats appear to be living up to their billing as promotion favourites heading into the campaign.
However, Ross is determined not to allow his side to rest on their laurels.
And the Scottish boss says that he would like to add even more quality to his squad in the new year.
He said: “We had a huge period of work in the summer, a really big transitional period with a high turnover of players, we won’t need to do a huge amount.
“I don’t envisage anywhere near that, I think I am blessed with a reasonably balanced squad and the numbers are okay, they fit with how I work.

“There is maybe one to two areas we would look at but we are still six weeks away from it and you can’t predict what might happen in terms of the health of your squad between now and January.”
Sunderland have managed to offload Papy Djilobodji and Didier Ndong during the season, which should reduce their wage bill and make room for new additions.
It is not yet totally clear where Ross would like new signings to be made at Sunderland, although a striker could be on his shopping list, as Josh Maja has been heavily relied on for goals so far this term.
