Jack Clarke has posted on Instagram to Tottenham fans after taking part in a pre-season game over the weekend.

The 20-year-old winger came off the bench during Tottenham’s 1-1 draw with Leyton Orient in what was Nuno Espirito Santo’s first unofficial game in charge.

It’s going to be interesting to see how Clarke is utilised by Nuno ahead of the forthcoming campaign because he was out on loan last season.

The Leeds academy product endured a healthy campaign in the colours of Stoke City, who secured a mid-table finish in England’s second tier.

Nonetheless, this is the message Clarke sent to Spurs fans, with academy product, Jack Roles responding in the comments section.

Roles simply posted ‘Miss me yet? ‘ to which Clarke responded by saying ‘More with every minute that passes by’.

Spurs could do with a player of Clarke’s fearless nature in the final third and he does perhaps deserve a shot ahead of the more senior stars.

Steven Bergwijn produced poor performance and poor performance last season, whilst Lucas Moura sparked but was once again inconsistent and Erik Lamela continues to disappoint.

But given Clarke’s age and inexperience, it wouldn’t be a surprise if he is heading for the exit door once again this summer.
