Jack Hendry has commented on his struggles at Celtic.

Celtic defender Jack Hendry has told the Glasgow Evening Times that he has had a tough time with the club so far, and considers it the steepest learning curve so far.
With Celtic seeking defensive reinforcements in the January transfer window, Brendan Rodgers decided to bring in two centre backs’; Hendry and Marvin Compper.
Those are two players at opposite ends of the spectrum; Compper is hugely experienced and is coming towards the end of his career, whereas Hendry is young and full of potential.
In truth, neither signing has really worked out so far; Compper has barely been seen having struggled with injuries and with convincing Rodgers, whilst Hendry has looked overawed in a Bhoys shirt.
Let go by Wigan Athletic in the summer of 2017, Hendry impressed for Dundee, and that tempted Celtic into signing him, with Rodgers seemingly looking to mould him having earned comparisons to John Stones.
Hendry looks to play out from the back but has looked short on confidence, with his poor defending torn apart by fans and pundits since his move to Glasgow.
Hendry has now commented on the situation, admitting that he has been having a tough time since making the move to Celtic, adding that it’s the steepest learning curve of his career so far.

The 23-year-old defender does feel that his struggles will make him stronger as a player and as a person, and needs to stay strong and deal with his disappointments in order to become a star for Celtic in the coming years.
“It has been a tough time at club level for me personally but I always think that they make you stronger as a player and as a person,” said Hendry. “I am always looking for feedback on my performances whether that is from games or in training but I am always looking to improve. It has probably been the steepest learning curve of my career over the last six months.”
“Every touch, every pass, every move gets analysed at Celtic so that is something that I have had to learn from. I need to embrace that. It is difficult. Sometimes you have to stay strong and it makes you a bigger and better person. It is not easy dealing with disappointments but that is when you have to stand tall,” he added.
