Jack Hendry has struggled to impress since arriving at Celtic during the previous January transfer window.

Jack Hendry needs to consider asking for the chance to leave Celtic on loan when the transfer window opens in January.
But unfortunately, the move does not appear to be working out for anyone.
Hendry has struggled to win his critics over and looks to be well out of the picture right now. His most recent appearance in any competition came back in October.

It has got to the stage where it seems more likely that Brendan Rodgers will sign a new centre-back if he loses one next month rather than hand Hendry a run of games.
Celtic must see something in the 23-year-old. They did not spend a huge amount on him, but a seven-figure outlay still sends out a statement regarding how high they rated him a year ago.

If he is ever going to make the grade at Parkhead, he surely needs time away from the Bhoys to build his confidence back up and potentially prove a point to his parent club.
Given how his Celtic spell is playing out currently, he may as well roll the dice in the hope that a loan exit proves to be the option that saves his Hoops career.
