Celtic defender Jack Hendry has received major criticism this year.

Celtic defender Jack Hendry has told The Scottish Sun that he wants to learn from teammate Dedryck Boyata amid criticism of his performances since his move to Pakrhead.
The Bhoys saw Hendry star in six months at Dundee having been let go by Wigan Athletic, and pounced to hand him a big move to Glasgow in January.
Seen as a defender who can play the ball out from the back but isn’t exactly dominant, Hendry has earned comparisons to Manchester City and England ace John Stones – but hasn’t impressed since his move.
The 23-year-old has often looked shaky and out of his depth in a Celtic shirt, leading to major criticism from fans and pundits during his time with the Bhoys.
Hendry still has plenty of time to fulfil his potential, but needs to improve massively in order to justify Brendan Rodgers’ decision to bring him to the club in January.
Now, Hendry has revealed that he wants to learn from Celtic teammate Dedryck Boyata, who has been superb for the Bhoys in 2018 and starred for Belgium at the World Cup this summer.

Hendry has told The Scottish Sun that Boyata has already been valuable to his development, and wants to learn more from him as they talk lots on and off the pitch – and if Hendry can reach Boyata’s level, Bhoys fans would surely relax their criticism.
“Nothing comes bigger than playing in a World Cup and Dedryck did that, so he is someone I can really learn from,” said Hendry. “He has been so valuable to me and my development, he’s helped me a lot on the pitch and off it. We talk about how to improve our game and how to get better,” he added.
