After a stunning campaign back in the Premier League, Leeds don’t actually need too many reinforcements this summer, in our view.

However, it sounds as if Marcelo Bielsa still isn’t 100% happy with his options out wide.

According to The Sun, the Argentine has asked Victor Orta to submit a £15 million offer to Rangers for Ryan Kent.

Bielsa is said to be keen on the £7 million forward, who Leeds saw a bid rejected for back in August, as Sky Sports covered.

Should Orta be successful in signing Kent this time around, Jack Harrison will surely be banging Bielsa’s door down to ask some questions.

Why? Well, the pair have almost exclusively played in the same position this season.

Harrison has made 19 appearances out on the left flank this term, where he has terrorised Premier League defences by cutting in on his right foot.

Interestingly, Kent has made 41 appearances on the left – of course, he’s played more games with Rangers involved in the latter stages of the Europa League.

He also likes to cut in on his stronger right foot – they are very, very similar players.

You might argue that Harrison is only on loan, so Kent would be his replacement.

However, The Athletic’s Phil Hay recently said on The Phil Hay Show that an £11 million deal to sign him from Manchester City is ‘as good as done’ – pretty conclusive.

“Leeds have got the option to take Jack Harrison from Manchester City, and my understanding of that is that it will happen; it’s as good as done, and it will be an £11 million deal.”

So, will Bielsa move Harrison to compensate for Kent’s arrival, if Orta can get his hands on him?

Or, will the Rangers attacker be signed to play in an entirely different position?

It remains to be seen, but Harrison will surely have plenty to ask Bielsa if Kent ends up at Elland Road this summer.
