Leeds’ Jack Harrison suggests Marcelo Bielsa has Whites players working eight-hour days

Leeds United’s players appear to be training nine to five, given Jack Harrison’s latest Instagram story update.

The winger tagged himself at Leeds’ Thorp Arch training centre on Tuesday evening, which happens to be his 22nd birthday.

And his post read: “17(:)24 / Doing 9-5s now”.

Despite having suffered a 4-1 defeat against West Bromwich Albion last time out,Leeds’ players were allowed some time off during November’s international break, with Liam Cooper, Adam Forshaw and Barry Douglas taking their families to Dubai.

But preparations for Saturday’s visit of Bristol City look to be underway.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side face a busy week, with Reading at home to follow next Tuesday, ahead of a trip to promotion rivals Sheffield United four days later.

Bielsa is renowned for his strenuous training regimes, which initially drew complaints from some Leeds players, according to the Whites midfielder Mateusz Klich in an interview with the Daily Mirror this week.
