Jack Harrison praises Leeds United teammate Pablo Hernandez

Jack Harrison joined Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United on loan from Manchester City in the summer transfer window.

Manchester City-owned Leeds United star Jack Harrison has spoken highly of his teammate Pablo Hernandez to Leeds Live.

Harrison, who joined Leeds on loan from Premier League club City in the summer transfer window, has said that he can learn from Hernandez.

The 33-year-old Spaniard, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, is one of the best players in the Championship, and has scored three goals and provided four assists in eight league matches for the Whites so far this season, according to WhoScored.

The former Valencia star joined Leeds on loan from Al-Arabi in the summer of 2016 when Garry Monk was the manager of the Whites and made the move permanent in January 2017.

Harrison told Leeds Live about Hernandez: “The way he can see the game is very interesting, different to others. I can learn from him. He’s quiet but he’s approachable, he’s always willing to help team-mates.”

The 21-year-old added: “He takes his time on the ball and you can see where he’s going to pass it before he gets the ball.”

Pushing for promotion

Leeds are doing well in the Championship at the moment and are aiming to finish in the top two of the league table.

Hernandez knows the division out, and the Spaniard will be key for Marcelo Bielsa’s side in the coming weeks and months.

What Leeds need is consistency and ability to grind out results, and they will find it tough against Nottingham Forest at Elland Road in the Championship on Saturday evening.
