Eddie Nketiah joined Leeds United in the summer transfer window.

Eddie Nketiah of Leeds United celebrates during the Sky Bet Championship match between Leeds United and Brentford at Elland Road on August 21, 2019 in Leeds, England.

Leeds United winger Jack Harrison has spoken highly of his teammate Eddie Nketiah to The Yorkshire Evening Post.

Harrison, who can also operate as an attacking midfielder and is on loan from Manchester City, has been impressed with what he has seen of Nketiah, who joined Leeds on loan from Arsenal in the summer transfer window.

The 20-year-old striker scored for the Whites in their 1-0 win against Brentford at Elland Road in the Championship on Wednesday evening.

Harrison, 22, has raved about the England Under-21 international, and believes that he has a lot of talent.

Harrison – who earns £51,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – told The Yorkshire Evening Post about Nketiah: “You can see he has a lot of talent. He’s scored twice already and he’s a great guy, he has his head screwed on.”

Promising talent

Nketiah did not have much experience when he joined Leeds in the summer transfer window, but the striker has impressed many already.

Working under Leeds head coach Marcelo Bielsa can only make him better, and one should not be surprised if in the coming weeks, the England Under-21 international establishes himself as a regular in the starting lineup.

Leeds are aiming to finish in the top two of the Championship table this season and clinch automatic promotion to the Premier League.
