Leeds have lured Manchester City’s Harrison to Elland Road.

Optimism around Elland Road has increased over the past week after Marcelo Bielsa has lured Barry Douglas and Jack Harrison to Leeds United – and the latter is somewhat of a masterstroke by the Argentine.
The 21-year-old has joined the club on a season-long loan from Manchester City, who remains highly-rated by Pep Guardiola after an excellent spell with MLS club New York City under Patrick Vieira.
He scored 14 goals and created another 10 in 55 games across the pond, before joining City on a permanent basis. Hardly given a chance at Middlesbrough last season, Harrison is seen as somewhat of a coup.
Exciting on the ball, an eye for goal and blistering speed, Harrison boasts the ability capable of exciting the Elland Road crowd – something which was missing from Hadi Sacko’s game.
The France-born Mali international has joined Spanish outfit Las Palmas on a season-long loan, as reported by the Yorkshire Evening Post, after the Whites beat the relegated La Liga side on Sunday.
Sacko was one of a number of first-team stars at Elland Road not to be included in the squad numbers list, including the likes of Eunan O’Kane, Caleb Ekuban and Vurnon Anita.
The former Sporting Lisbon star’s end product was a trait that became synonymous with the speed machine, as he failed to finish numerous golden chances throughout his time at Elland Road.
Despite being three years Sacko’s junior, Harrison has all the qualities that are missing from Sacko’s game – composure, control and goals – and offloading Sacko to Las Palmas for Harrison is an excellent move from Bielsa.
