Jack Harrison is on loan at Leeds United from Manchester City.
Harrison joined Championship club Leeds on a season-long loan deal from Premier League outfit City in the summer of 2018.
The 22-year-old – who can operate as a winger or as an attacking midfielder – has established himself as an important player in Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
According to WhoScored, the English youngster has made 28 starts and five substitute appearances in the Championship for Leeds so far this season, scoring four goals and providing two assists in the process.
Harrison seems to be happy at Leeds, and the youngster – who earns £51,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – has suggested that he will make a decision on his future in the summer.
Harrison told BBC Radio Leeds when asked if he will be at Leeds next season: “This is a great club with a lot of history and it’s brilliant to be a part of it, but I think, as of right now, I should have to focus on doing what I can to help the team and make sure that we get promoted, and then we will see what happens this summer.”
Leeds United stay?
Harrison is playing well for Leeds at the moment, although the young attacker does need to be more consistent.
It is hard to see the 22-year-old establish himself in Pep Guardiola’s City team next season, and it will make sense if the Englishman remains at Leeds for the 2019-20 campaign.
