Jack Harrison has claimed that Marcelo Bielsa can be an ‘intimidating character’ in Leeds United training if you don’t know him, as he told Soccer AM on Sky Sports.

The Leeds winger shared what Bielsa is like in and around Thorp Arch and how you ‘won’t hear much from him’.

Whilst many may not hear from Bielsa directly, he has helped transform this previously stagnating Leeds side.

Bielsa may not say much towards his players, but that isn’t replicated out on the pitch because they leave absolutely everything out on the pitch for their manager.

Nonetheless, Harrison shared what Bielsa is like in everyday life in Yorkshire.

“I think if you are not around him like the players are, then he can definitely be an intimidating character,” said Harrison.

“He says hello to everyone when he walks in and he gives a small wave. But that’s about it. You won’t hear much else from him.”

Leeds were knocked out of the FA Cup on Sunday when they were beaten by West Ham United.

Whilst there will be disappointment at that defeat, it could be argued, given the club’s situation, those three points are more important.

Well, they will have another shot of getting the better of the Hammers because they will travel to the London Stadium again at the weekend for their Premier League encounter.

David Moyes might just stick with the same side given that they came out as winners, but it will be interesting to see if Bielsa changes things up.
