The Villans twice led but were twice pegged back at Villa Park as Dean Smith and co had to settle for a point.

Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish has taken to Twitter with an optimistic message for the Villans fanbase following Saturday’s 2-2 Premier League draw with Burnley at Villa Park.
Dean Smith’s charges went ahead when Anwar El Ghazi swept home Frederic Guilbert’s cross in the first half, but the Clarets equalised through Jay Rodriguez in the 68th minute.
Two more goals were to come in the game as John McGinn restored Villa’s lead on 79 minutes only for Chris Wood to restore parity shortly afterwards to ensure the points were shared.
The result keeps Villa in the bottom three of the Premier League table and, worryingly, they have now dropped a league-high eight points from winning positions this season, having led against Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Burnley.
Nonetheless, Grealish looked on the bright side as he posted a message insisting the players would take the positives from the game and seek to kick on next week, when they travel to Carrow Road to face fellow Premier League newcomers Norwich City next Saturday.
Some Villa fans took the time to reply to him, appreciating his upbeat stance:
