Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish is certainly celebrating the club’s promotion to the Premier League.

Aston Villa’s promotion to the Premier League on Monday was an emotional affair for many, but especially for Dean Smith and Jack Grealish.
Smith and Grealish grew up supporting Villa, and have been driving the club towards the Premier League in 2019, with their dreams realised on Monday.
Villa beat Derby County 2-1 in the Championship playoff final, with Anwar El Ghazi and John McGinn on the scoresheet for Villa, whilst Jack Marriott pulled one back for the Rams.
The final whistle sparked wild scenes at Wembley, just a year since Villa lost to Fulham in exactly the same game, exorcising that particular demon.
Villa fans, players and staff will be celebrating for days and weeks to come, and it’s clear that boyhood Villa fan Grealish is having a great time in the aftermath of the win.

Grealish took to Twitter on Tuesday night to post a hilarious tweet mocking Birmingham City, reciting a chant from when he scored against the Blues in March.
Grealish was infamously attacked by a Blues fan that day, and even after winning promotion, it’s clear that scoring the winner in that game still means so much to him, taking the promotion celebrations to a new level by poking fun at Villa’s bitter rivals.
