The popular 20-year-old has signed a new four-year deal at Villa Park.

Aston Villa fan favourite Jack Grealish signed a new four-year deal at the club on Wednesday and after putting pen to paper he vowed never to take playing at Villa Park for granted, as quoted by the club’s official website.
Grealish has signed a new four-year deal at his boyhood club, extending his stay by two years on top of the two he had left on his current deal.
The young star, who turns 21 on Saturday, has returned to being a key figure for the Villans in the opening weeks of the Championship campaign after a troubled season last term.
He scored his first goal at Villa Park in front of the Holte End to round off Villa’s only win of the season so far, a 3-0 victory over Rotherham in August, and also netted a fine opener in the 3-1 defeat at Bristol City in the last fixture.
Now, he has committed his future to the club and after signing the deal he was quick to profess both his love for the club and his vow never to take playing for them for granted.
Grealish said, via the club’s official website: “Everyone knows this is a club I love dearly – and it’s the place I want to play my football.
“Bodymoor Heath provides a great environment in which to continue my football education and to call Villa Park home is something I will never take for granted.
“We’re looking to return to the Premier League. I want to be a big part of that process and will be doing everything possible to make that a reality.”

Whilst the statement of his love of the club is sure to delight fans, his promise never to take being a Villa player for granted is also particularly noteworthy.
Grealish has been criticised by supporters and neutrals in the past for appearing to struggle to focus on his football at times, following incidents such as being photographed apparently drunk and smoking a shisha pipe.
However, he appears to have put that side of him behind him and become more focused than ever on his career, something from which Villa will hopefully reap reward for years to come.
