Jack Grealish is expected to play a key role for Aston Villa next season.

Jack Grealish has informed Aston Villa’s official website that he has been told by Roberto Di Matteo that he has a key role to play next season.
Grealish’s future was up in the air following Villa’s relegation to the Championship.
However, Di Matteo seems to have big plans for the England youth international, and he has already spoken to the attacking midfielder ahead of the new campaign.
“We had a really positive chat. It was very nice to have the gaffer do that,” Grealish said.

“It showed his desire to get started and put things in place for the new season.
“The manager told me he wants me to be a big part of what he wants to do this season. That meant a lot to hear that. I’m looking to do that.
“He has an aura about him. He was a great player and it wasn’t too long ago that he won the Champions League with Chelsea.
“His accomplishments are there for all to see. I am confident he can bring success to Villa.”

Grealish enjoyed a wonderful breakthrough season in 2014/15, but he failed to build on that last term.
The youngster struggled to impress, as Villa were relegated from the Premier League for the first time.
Grealish only scored once for the Claret and Blues, and he dropped out of the team during Remi Garde’s time in charge.
Grealish is expected to be a key player as Villa aim to bounce back, however.
Villa’s competitive season gets underway with a match against Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough on August 7th.
