Jack Grealish has been rumoured to on Tottenham’s radar.

Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish is Tottenham’s priority transfer target, The Telegraph reported late last week.

Grealish is Aston Villa’s most highly valued asset, and their dire financial situation could lead to them cashing in.

Former England under-21 midfielder Grealish sent a message to Tottenham player Joshua Onomah at the weekend, calling him his ‘brother’, after their spell together at Villa last season with the Spurs talent on loan.

Grealish’s potential arrival at Tottenham could actually end up sealing Onomah’s exit.

The Telegraph report Tottenham could try to knock down Villa’s asking price for Grealish by offerieng Onomah in part-exchange along with Cameron Carter-Vickers.

Onomah had a steady if unspectacular season out on loan for Villa last season, where he got the chance to play consistently for the first time.

Letting him go permanently could backfire on Spurs, especially after his starring role at the under-20 World Cup a year ago, but his chances of playing regularly next season are already not especially high, and will take a further hit if his ‘brother’ Jack Grealish is signed.
