Aston Villa slipped to a controversial defeat at Crystal Palace.

Jack Grealish has said on Twitter that he ‘can’t believe’ Kevin Friend’s decision to book him during Aston Villa’s controversial defeat.

Henri Lansbury thought he had rescued a point for Villa with a last-minute equaliser away to Crystal Palace this afternoon.

But referee Friend blew the whistle for an incident in the build-up when the Aston Villa captain was adjudged to have simulated contact and went to ground following a challenge from Gary Cahill.

Grealish picked up a yellow card and the Villans midfielder looked visibly furious over the call.
