Manchester City attacking midfielder Jack Grealish has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Aston Villa sacking Dean Smith as their manager.
Grealish, who left Villa for defending Premier League champions City in the summer transfer window, has shared his admiration of Smith on the social networking site.
Former Villa striker Stan Collymore has also given his take on the Villans deciding to dismiss Smith.
As announced on Villa’s official website this afternoon, the Premier League club have decided to part company with the Englishman.
Smith was appointed as the Villa manager in October 2018.
The Englishman is a Villa fan.
The 50-year-old guided the Villans to the Premier League from the Championship.
Villa are now an established club in the Premier League, but they are struggling at the moment.
The Villans are only two points above the relegation zone.
Villa have also lost their last five Premier League games.
Sacking Smith now gives the Villa bosses time to find a suitable replacement during the international break.
