Jack Grealish paid tribute to former Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce on social media.

Jack Grealish has taken to Twitter to thank Steve Bruce following the news that Bruce has been sacked by Aston Villa in the wake of their 3-3 draw with Preston North End this week.
The Villans are now looking for a new manager for the first time in two years with Bruce being dismissed after an underwhelming start to the season. The draw with the Lilywhites leaves Villa 13th in the table and one point closer to the bottom three than top spot in the Championship.
Villa have now won once in their last 10 games in all competitions. And having faced four of the bottom five in the second tier – they face the remaining side, Millwall, this weekend – taking one win from those games is clearly not good enough for a side that came within one win of promotion last season.
Unfortunately for Bruce – who conducted himself with class throughout his spell – the large majority of supporters clearly felt that a change was needed and the board ultimately agreed with them.

For Grealish, it is likely to be a big blow. Bruce definitely got his career back on track and some of the football the attacking midfielder played last season was exceptional.
And in reaction to the news, Grealish took to social media to pay tribute to his former manager and thank him for all that he has done for him over the past couple of years.
