Aston Villa fans thank Jack Grealish for his performance on Saturday.

If there was a positive to be taken from Aston Villa’s 2-0 defeat at Derby County on Saturday, it has to be the performance of fit-again Jack Grealish.
The 22-year-old started his first Championship game of the season this past weekend following the ruptured kidney that had sidelined him for much of the campaign.

And the brilliant midfielder certainly showed Aston Villa fans and manager Steve Bruce what the side was missing with a fine display.
The England Under-21 international revealed on Twitter afterwards that he was “gutted” with the defeat but “buzzing” to be back in the thick of things for his boyhood club again.

And fans of the Villa Park club certainly showed their support for one of their own.
At the moment it seems like the Villans will have to win promotion back to the Premier League via the playoffs, if they are to get back in the top flight.
Bruce’s side are fourth in the Championship but 10 points behind Cardiff City in the automatic promotion places – and 14 behind top-of-the-table Wolves.
That being said, having a player of Grealish’s calibre back can surely only be a huge positive.
