Aston Villa attacking midfielder Jack Grealish has jokingly claimed on Instagram that former Birmingham City star Jude Bellingham loves the Villans.
Grealish, who can also play as a winger, has posted the following message on Instagram:
It is clear that Grealish is having some fun at the expense of Villa’s bitter rivals Birmingham.
Bellingham came through the youth academy of Birmingham and moved to Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2020 for a transfer fee reported by Sky Sports to be worth £25 million.
The Blues actually decided to retire the number 22 shirt following the transfer of the teenager.
Bellingham has done extremely well at Dortmund and has made the England squad for the Euro 2020 finals this summer where he could be a star player.
The 17-year-old midfielder made 19 starts and 10 substitute appearances in the Bundesliga for Dortmund this past season.
The teenager scored one goal and gave three assists in those games.
Bellingham also made eight starts and two substitute appearances in the Champions League for the German club in 2020-21.
The England international scored one goal and gave one assist in those games.
