According to Fabrizio Romano on CBS Sports, Manchester City are ‘optimistic’ that Aston Villa attacking midfielder Jack Grealish will move to the Etihad Stadium this summer.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has reported that City are so confident of signing the England international that they have ‘already prepared the contract’ for the 25-year-old.
City have also ‘scheduled medical examinations’ for Grealish in case he decides to agree on a deal ‘in the next few hours.’
The Citizens have reportedly bid £100 million for the English attacker.
Could a transfer happen?
Villa are a big and established club in the Premier League, but £100 million for one player is a lot of money.
For any club.
There is a very good chance that the Villans will accept the offer from City.

Grealish is a Villa fan and loves the club, but he will know that he will win a lot at City.
Pep Guardiola’s side won the Premier League title last season and also reached the Champions League final.
We should not be surprised at all if a transfer happens soon, but until and unless Grealish has signed on the dotted line, there will always be a chance that he stays at Villa.
