Jack Grealish has taken to Twitter to like a tweet which simultaneously mocks both Tottenham and Aston Villa’s rivals, Birmingham.
The initial tweet was posted by Spartak Moscow’s official account.
The Russian outfit reacted to a photo of Juande Ramos’ Tottenham team lifting the League Cup in 2008, with a pretty blunt caption.
You can see their tweet below.
Not too long after that tweet, Spartak Moscow uploaded another post, this time a screenshot of Grealish being seen to have liked the tweet.
In our view, Aston Villa fans will love this. Birmingham’s League Cup win in 2011 was their last trophy win, and one which they’ll presumably cherish.
In that respect, to see Spartak Moscow play down the achievement and also see Grealish agreeing with their view will presumably bring enjoyment to the Villa Park faithful.
He is also somewhat mocking Tottenham in liking the tweet.

The north Londoners’ League Cup success in 2008 was also their last piece of silverware, so to have that downplayed won’t be appreciated by Jose Mourinho’s side.
Of course, silverware is silverware. Tottenham and Birmingham have every right to be proud of their accomplishment.
However, it doesn’t seem as if Spartak Moscow – or Grealish – rate the League Cup too highly.
