The Aston Villa star was in fine form for the England U21s this week.
Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish has told the Daily Mail that his main focus moving forward is what he does on the pitch.
The midfielder has endured yet another disappointing start to the season, failing to impress with Villa in the Championship.
He has also been beset by problems off the pitch once again after stories emerged regarding him partying until the early hours in a hotel.
This week saw him at his best, though, as he created three of the England under-21s’ five goals in a win over Bosnia and Herzegovina.
It was his best performance for quite some time and he says his priority now is doing it on a regular basis.
“I’m happy with my performance but the aim was to get three points,” he told the Daily Mail.
“What I do on the pitch is my priority and hopefully I can have more good performances for club and country.”
Those comments will come as welcome news to Aston Villa fans, who will be hoping he can start to lead their team moving forward.
The Villans are currently 19th in the Championship and just two points outside the relegation zone.
That has already seen Roberto Di Matteo lose his job at Villa Park, with Steve Bruce coming in as his replacement this week.
They will need to start picking up wins quickly if they are to achieve at least a play-off place and Grealish being in the kind of form he showed this week will be vital to any hopes they have.
