James Maddison piled more misery on Tottenham Hotspur after they suffered a defeat to Leicester City on Saturday afternoon.

Jack Grealish has lauded James Maddison’s goal against Tottenham as ‘serious’, whilst Ian Wright congratulated him on a ‘great performance’, as Leicester City recorded a 2-1 win over Spurs on Saturday.
The 22-year-old, who was ironically linked with a move to Tottenham in the summer after they were keen on his services, as reported by Football London, found themselves on the end of one of his top performances at the King Power Stadium.
In what was a fast-paced game, full of drama and VAR controversy, Maddison scored a brilliant long-range effort in the second half to secure all three points for his team.
Nonetheless, after the game, Maddison posted this message on his personal Instagram, with the likes of Grealish, Wright and Jamie Redknapp responding.

If there was any interest in Maddison in the summer then that’ll only increase given the manner in which he is performing for the Foxes this season.
Added with that, he is yet to earn his first England cap, and performances such as the one against Tottenham will only increase his chances of earning that maiden call.
Whilst Tottenham will feel aggrieved with some of the decision-making by the officials and VAR, they can’t argue with the top-quality striker from Maddison, which won his side the game.
This isn’t a one-off performance from Maddison because he has been producing these type of performances from last season.
