Aston Villa fans won’t want to see Jack Grealish flirting with any other clubs, but Manchester City may just feel there was some eye-fluttering going on last night.

The Daily Mail reported last month that City are favourites to sign Grealish in a huge move this summer, with Grealish ‘excited’ about the possibility of joining City.

That would be massive for City and for Grealish himself, as whilst leaving his boyhood club won’t be easy, he would be joining a contender for major trophies.

On Tuesday night, City took on Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League, and claimed a 2-1 victory as Phil Foden bagged a late winner.

Kevin De Bruyne had put City in front, and then showed his class with a superb cross for Ilkay Gundogan, who then teed up Foden to score.

De Bruyne is known as one of the most creative players in world football, and his ability in the final third was on show once again last night.

Grealish took to Twitter to react, claiming that De Bruyne’s end product is ‘unbelievable’ every single time he gets a chance to deliver.

This may just be one creative player appreciating another, but City fans may be dreaming of seeing Grealish and De Bruyne team up at the Etihad Stadium after seeing that tweet.
