Speaking on the BBC Radio Five Live Football Daily Podcast, Aston Villa star Jack Grealish has delivered an update about whether or not he’s fit amid injury worries.
Grealish missed England training earlier this week, reportedly being asked to do some individual work away from the core group, and as you can imagine, this sparked panic amongst the Aston Villa and England fanbases.
However, Grealish maintains that he’s absolutely fine.
Is Jack Grealish fit?
Grealish denied any notion that he wasn’t fit, claiming that he’ll be training over the next two days as England prepare to face Scotland in a crucial Euro 2020 clash.
“No, I’m fine. I’m all good, I was actually thinking about just coming out for the warm-up just to stop some of the headlines, but I’m fine you know. I’ll train today and I’ll train tomorrow,” Grealish said.

No injury for Jack Grealish
Grealish being fully fit is a huge relief.
The Aston Villa ace has been backed to be one of England’s most important players at the Euros, and the fact that he’s available is a massive boost for Gareth Southgate and his side.
Grealish provides something to this England team that no other player does. He’s one of the best dribblers in the country and he has so much flair.
England may need to call on a player who can create something out of nothing, and Grealish is certainly that man.
Whether or not he actually ends up starting against Scotland remains to be seen.
