Jack Grealish’s move from Manchester City to Everton has brought a noticeable upturn in form, with the midfielder showing flashes of his best again.

The big-money loan deal seems to be working out for David Moyes, while City fans may well be regretting how things ended for the 30-year-old at the Etihad.

Grealish has settled in well at Everton, already making an impact with his performances early in the season.

Everton News reported last month that the club are already interested in making Grealish’s move permanent, though any deal would need to make sense financially for the Blues.

The 30-year-old may not have youth on his side anymore, but his play for the Toffees has not gone unnoticed around the Premier League.

Erling Haaland has spoken positively about Grealish lately, and it seems City fans are starting to come to a similar conclusion after seeing him perform on Merseyside.

Moyes has said that he does not hold back when it comes to criticism of Grealish, as that is how the player prefers to receive feedback.

It has been a strong start for Grealish at Everton, and plenty of City fans have been taking notice.

Scrolling through social media, you will find more than a few City supporters who would prefer Grealish over Savinho back at the Etihad.

Responding to a post asking whether fans would bring him back in January if they could, one replied: “Give me Super Jack back,” while another simply said: “Of course I would.”

One fan did not hesitate, saying: “Without a blink.” Another believes his return could be game-changing for City: “If he comes back and maintains this form we’re winning the league and Champions League.”

The midfielder remains popular among the Man City faithful. As one fan put it: “Without a single hesitation.” While another was all in on the idea, adding: “Recall him now, fantastic idea.”

The 30-year-old is clearly enjoying life under Moyes, with the manager giving him the backing he needs ahead of next summer’s World Cup.

Jack Grealish has already exceeded his Man City minutes at Everton

Grealish has only been on Merseyside for a few months, but he has already logged more Premier League minutes this season than he did all of last year.

He has settled in well with the Toffees, and it has not taken long for him to fit in with the squad. Players have noticed what he brings, both on and off the pitch.

Having the right backing around him seems to have made a real difference as he works towards getting back into Thomas Tuchel’s England plans.

The two had a brief chat at Old Trafford recently, which could be an encouraging sign that Grealish remains in Tuchel’s thoughts ahead of the 2026 World Cup selection decisions.

Returning to City would likely put those hopes in doubt, though, especially given how little time Pep Guardiola gave him over the past couple of seasons.
