Jack Grealish has joined the Aston Villa fans in taking to social media to comment on the announcement the Villans made on their official Twitter account that Callum O’Hare has signed a new two-year contract with the Championship side.

O’Hare appears to be one of the brightest prospects currently coming through at Villa Park at the moment, and Steve Bruce confirmed that fact by handing him his first-team debut in the EFL Cup tie with Colchester United back in August.

He has, so far, made five first-team appearances, with three starts coming in the cup and a couple of substitute appearances in the league – and the way that he has adapted to coming into the first-team fold certainly suggests that he has the potential to become an important player for Bruce’s men in the future.

Therefore, the news that he has signed a new two-year deal has received a largely positive reaction on social media, with many excited that the talented teenager is set to stay for the next couple of years at least.

Jack Grealish was amongst those who commented on the news, congratulating his teammate on the new contract.

However, there was one interesting comment amongst the positivity, with one supporter frustrated at the fact that he has not been awarded a longer deal as it seems to provide little long-term security if O’Hare ends up realising his potential.

Here is the best of the reaction…
