Jack Grealish has praised Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane, ahead of his first training session with England in The Sun.

Grealish was finally called up to international duty by Gareth Southgate yesterday, with the Aston Villa playmaker now set to join up with the England squad for their upcoming friendlies.

And Tottenham striker Kane is one player that Grealish cannot wait to play alongside, as he knows the quality that he possesses.

“I can’t wait to actually train beside them and, hopefully, team up with the likes of Harry Kane, Raheem Sterling and Trent Alexander-Arnold, rather than trying to stop them,” Grealish said.

“I know I can become an even better player by learning from these amazing players.”

Kane may well also be excited about Grealish’s call up to the England squad, as it should increase the chances he gets.

England’s biggest problem has been their lack of creativity from central midfield, but Grealish’s inclusion should help in that regard.

Kane still has maintained a remarkable goalscoring record for the Three Lions, but the Tottenham striker is a player who always demands more from himself, and with Grealish playing behind him, he could seriously benefit.

Kane will be in action for Tottenham for the first time this season, when Jose Mourinho’s side take on Everton on September 13th.
