The talented playmaker has been in excellent form for Aston Villa.
Jack Grealish of Aston Villa claps the fans
Aston Villa’s excellent run of form came to an end today, as their seven wins on the bounce streak was ended at Fulham.
It was a disjointed performance from the Villa players, who simply could not get a handle on the fixture.
One thing that became incredibly clear, was how much Villa miss Jack Grealish when he is not playing.
The talented midfield maestro missed the game with a calf injury and Albert Adomah was also absent, so Villa were missing two of their better attacking options.

But it was the absence of Grealish that was so keenly felt. The England under-21 international has been an inspiration for Villa this season. The upturn in the club’s form coincided with Grealish’s return to action from a freak kidney injury.
This was the first league clash Grealish has lost since the Boxing Day clash against Brentford and without him today Villa simply lacked the invention to get the better of their fellow promotion rivals.
Grealish will hopefully be back for the clash with Preston North End in midweek and there is no doubt that the fans at Villa will be looking forward to Grealish getting back into action.
