The West Bromwich Albion teenager gave a good account of himself against the French champions.
West Bromwich Albion youngster Jack Fitzwater has taken to Twitter after he started the club’s pre-season clash with Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday evening.
The 18-year-old defender started in a Baggies side that was a mixture of youth and experience and he was clearly happy to have been included, even if they ultimately lost the match 2-1.

West Brom took the lead when David Luiz put through his own net in the first half, but second-half strikes from Adrien Rabiot and Lucas Moura turned the game on its head and condemned Tony Pulis’s men to a defeat.
There was still plenty to be proud of, not least the performance of Fitzwater who helped West Brom to a clean sheet in the first half.
There were eight changes at half time as Pulis gave as many of his players a run out as possible. However Fitzwater played the whole match and it is sure to be an evening he does not forget in a hurry.

“(It) was an unbelievable experience to play 90 minutes for the first-team against PSG last night,” the teenager wrote.
He is yet to play a competitive senior game for the Baggies but on this evidence that could change next season.
