Jack Draper states his goal for the 2026 tennis season

In an interview with Women’s Wear Daily, Draper revealed his goal for the remainder of the 2026 season ahead of his comeback.

The former US Open semifinalist said: “In 2026, my goal is to build throughout the year, keep on improving.

“Obviously I want to achieve amazing things, but I have never liked to set goals and instead believe in focusing on day-in, day-out consistent work, and trust that my goals will come with this.

“My game is in a good spot to have an amazing 2026,” concluded Draper, who reached a career-high ranking of fourth in the world in 2025.

Draper won the biggest title of his career last year when emerging victorious at the Indian Wells Open.

Following a runner-up finish at the Qatar Open, Draper knocked out Joao Fonseca, Taylor Fritz, Ben Shelton and Carlos Alcaraz en route to the final in the first half of the sunshine double.

In the championship match, he beat Holger Rune to secure a maiden Masters 1000 trophy.

Draper reached the final of another Masters event in Madrid later on in the season, but was denied a second trophy by Casper Ruud.
