West Ham United could land Jack Wilshere on a free transfer, with his contract at Arsenal set to expire.

Jack Collison has suggested that West Ham United would be making an unbelievable addition by signing Jack Wilshere this summer.

Wilshere announced on social media yesterday that he would be leaving Arsenal in the coming weeks, and West Ham have been strongly linked with the England international.

Collison has now suggested that West Ham should make a move for Wilshere, as he appears to be available on a free transfer.

The Daily Mail have suggested that Wilshere’s current Arsenal contract as worth £90,000-a-week.

If West Ham do want him, they will surely have to at least match his current salary to convince him to move to the London Stadium.

Wilshere is sure to be in-demand this summer, but a move to West Ham could be appealing for both player and club.

Wilshere would not have to relocate his family to complete a switch to West Ham, and Manuel Pellegrini’s midfield options would be much stronger with the 26-year-old involved.
