West Ham played out a 1-1 draw with Leicester away from home at the King Power Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
Fabian Balbuena put the Hammers in the lead on the half-hour mark, but Wilfred Ndidi restored parity for the Foxes on 89 minutes.
The Hammers ended the game with 10 men due to the sending-off of Mark Noble on 38 minutes.
Former West Ham midfielder Collison was following the match, and he was pleased with the performance of Manuel Pellegrini’s side.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at the King Power Stadium on Saturday evening, hosts Leicester had 64% of the possession, took 21 shots of which seven were on target, and earned eight corners, according to BBC Sport.
Visitors West Ham had 36% of the possession, took 11 shots of which three were on target, and failed to earn a single corner, according to BBC Sport.
