Jack Collison has predicted on Twitter that West Ham United midfielder Jack Wilshere will be a success this season.

Wilshere joined West Ham in the summer of 2018 on a free transfer after leaving Premier League rivals Arsenal.

The 27-year-old England international had injury issues last season, and when he did play, he was not exactly great.

According to WhoScored, Wilshere was able to make only four starts and just four substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Hammers last season – a total of 389 minutes.

The Englishman has looked good in pre-season, and former West Ham midfielder Collison believes that he will be a big hit at the London Stadium this season.

Fitness is key

Wilshere is a very good midfielder who did well when he was fit at Arsenal, and he can be a success at West Ham this season if he is not injured.

If the 27-year-old remains fit and is available, then he will be an important ply in manager Manuel Pellegrini’s team.
