The Newcastle midfielder has picked up plenty of yellow cards during his time on Tyneside.
Newcastle midfielder Jack Colback believes players can get away with more from the officials in the Championship compared to the Premier League, speaking to The Chronicle.
The Magpies have seen some referees wave play on in instances when they would have got a free kick last season in the Premier League, notably against Huddersfield and Wolves, and Colback does think the officials are more lenient.

“I think the refereeing is different compared to the Premier League,” Colback told The Chronicle.
“I think you do get away with a little bit more, which helps those of us who pick up yellows too often.”
The 26-year-old has picked up just one yellow card so far this season in seven outings, which is down on his average from the last two seasons in the top flight.

During the last campaign, Colback picked up 11 bookings, and picked up 12 during his debut season at Newcastle.
While the referees might be more lenient in the Championship, it is something that the Magpies will have to deal with and learn to adapt to if they are going to achieve promotion this season.
After a shaky start which saw Newcastle lose their opening two games, Rafael Benitez’s side have begun to smarten up and learn about the league they are playing in, already toughing out results away to Rotherham and Bristol City, where they spent large portions of the game under pressure, but held out for a 1-0 victory.
