Nottingham Forest have signed Jack Colback on loan for the rest of the season from Newcastle United.

Colback made a deadline day loan move to Forest from Newcastle United, and he is looking forward to getting started at the City Ground.
The midfielder did his research before picking Forest, and says that he has only heard good reports about Karanka’s management skill.

“It’s nice to get out on loan and hopefully play some games,” Colback said.
“It’s been a difficult few months for me, but I’m looking forward to the opportunity here.
“The club were very keen to get it done – that was a big factor. “They showed a lot of interest, and I’ve heard lots of good things about the manager (Aitor Karanka) from players who have played for him before.”
Colback was one of a number of additions which Forest made on deadline day, with Karanka significantly strengthening his side.

The Reds brought in the likes of Joe Lolley and Lee Tomlin to add to their creative ranks, while Colback should bring steel and energy to their midfield.
Colback could make his Forest debut at the weekend, when Karanka’s side take on Fulham at Craven Cottage.
If the Reds are able to win the fixture, they could move up to 14th in the Championship table.
