Leeds United drew against Nottingham Forest at Elland Road in their latest Championship clash.

When Leeds fans consider the key moments from their 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest on Saturday, it is likely that many will deem Jack Clarke’s introduction with 25 minutes left as one of the main turning points.
Clarke was exceptional when he came on. The winger nearly scored with one of his first touches, and continually looked dangerous. The academy graduate created numerous problems for the visitors and put in several brilliant crosses.
In fact, it is probably fair to say that Clarke overshadowed Samuel Saiz, who was brought on during the same stoppage of play. That is why the youngster’s tweet following the draw prompted a number of the Leeds supporters to reply with an enormous amount of praise.
Marcelo Bielsa’s men are now second in the Championship after securing a point against Forest. It was Aitor Karanka’s side who took the lead in the first-half as Leeds once again defended a corner poorly.

Kemar Roofe equalised in incredibly controversial circumstances. But while the goal should not have stood, Leeds would have felt hard done by had they not secured a point.
And Clarke’s cameo was a key reason why Leeds did get themselves back into the game. The winger asked so many questions of the Forest defence, and many of the supporters now feel that he has put himself into contention to start next weekend.

And after the draw, the starlet took to social media to suggest that Leeds deserved a win. He also praised the fans for the atmosphere that they created as the team chased an equaliser.
Here is Clarke’s tweet reflecting on the game, as well as some of the responses…
