Jack Clarke made his return to Leeds United’s side at the weekend.

Jack Clarke has told LUTV that he loved making his return to the Leeds side at the weekend, even if the result was not the one that he wanted from the game.
Clarke has been out of action for several weeks after being taken ill at Middlesbrough in February. It was a relief that the problem was not more serious given the worrying scenes that took place at the Riverside Stadium, but Marcelo Bielsa was still without the winger for a number of games.
The Whites managed to do well without their most exciting prospect, winning five out of the six games they played without him. However, they could have certainly done with his creativity and ability to make something magic happen out of nothing during the defeat to Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road.
But Leeds have received a boost ahead of the final eight games of the campaign as Clarke made his comeback during the second-half of Saturday’s clash with Sheffield United. The game at Elland Road would end 1-0 to the visitors, but the winger admitted that he could take one major positive from the defeat.

“I loved it,” he told LUTV. “Obviously taking the result out of the equation, because it wasn’t what we wanted from the game, but I loved being back involved, loved being back in front of the fans at Elland Road and just loved to be back playing.”
Having Clarke back to his best could make a huge difference to Bielsa’s side. He has caused all sorts of problems since making his debut against Brentford earlier in the season.
And with Leeds facing a tricky run of fixtures between now and the end of the campaign, Clarke could well prove to be the ace up Bielsa’s sleeve as they look to get themselves back into the top two.
