Feyenoord manager Jaap Stam has suggested to The Scottish Sun that he has warned his players against Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos ahead of tonight’s match at Ibrox.

Rangers will take on Feyenoord at Ibrox in Europa League Group G on Thursday evening.

Colombian striker Morelos is likely to lead the line for Steven Gerrard’s side, and Feyenoord boss Stam is aware of the threat that the 23-year-old poses.

Stam told The Scottish Sun about Morelos: “Yeah, we have been looking at the Rangers squad and the players’ quality.

“I have warned my team they need to be careful with a certain player. Rangers have quality and they use their physique, but they also play football.”

Rangers are favourites

Feyenoord are a good team and will come to Glasgow with confidence, but Rangers will consider themselves as favourites.

After all, the match is at Ibrox, and Rangers returned to winning ways in the Scottish Premiership at the weekend.

Morelos is one of the best strikers in the Scottish Premiership, and the 23-year-old seems to have also sorted his temperament, and he will be a major threat to Feyenoord tonight if he plays.
