Some Liverpool fans on social media have been calling for their club to sign Mikkel Damsgaard after his performance against England at Euro 2020.
Sadly for Denmark, it wasn’t to be on Wednesday evening as England dumped them out of the tournament in extra time, but it has to be said that the Scandanavians made a great account of themselves.
Damsgaard was undoubtedly the star of the show for Denmark, he netted a brilliant first-half free-kick and he went close on a couple of other occasions.
It’s easy to forget that Damsgaard is just 21 years old when you see him play, especially when he’s turning up in such a high-pressure situation.
Liverpool fans were certainly blown away by what they were seeing from Damsgaard, and they’ve been calling for the Reds to make their move for him in the transfer window.
The Reds have been linked lately, but the Anfield faithful are now desperate for their team to firm up their interest, and we can certainly understand why.
