Some Liverpool fans on social media have been raving over Ozan Kabak after a video of him in training this week was posted on Liverpool’s Twitter account.
The Turkish defender was taking part in a Rondo session, where a number of players pass the ball in a circle while a player in the middle tries to close them down.
As you can imagine, this quick, sharp game suits players with good technical ability and a great footballing mind, and in this short clip you can already see that Kabak has both of those things.
Of course, it’s only one clip, but it has to be said it is impressive as towards the end of the video he performs an outrageous bit of skill, nutmegging Trent Alexander-Arnold in the process.
The Liverpool players seemed impressed in the clip, and fans online seemed to be even more blown away, with some calling for him to start against Manchester City this weekend.
Kabak is available to start with his international clearance going through on Friday, so we may actually see him make his debut against City, and if this clip is anything to go by, he looks ready for the task at hand.
