Richard Keys has launched an attack on Tottenham Hotspur boss Antonio Conte and suggested that he is overrated.
The Lilywhites slumped to a dismal 2-1 defeat at home to Newcastle United on Sunday.
Spurs remain third in the Premier League standings, but victory would’ve taken them two points behind Arsenal at the summit.
It was an awful performance from a Tottenham side that are struggling for consistency in a major way.
Results are one thing, but the North Londoners aren’t even playing a particularly encouraging or aesthetically-pleasing style of football either.

And Keys has written on Twitter that if such ‘rubbish’ displays happened during the Jose Mourinho era then the Portuguese manager would hear all about it.
Is Conte overrated?
Well, no. Absolutely not.
The Italian is a world-class manager and one who has found success virtually everywhere he has been, including winning a Premier League title at Chelsea in 2017.
Keys needs to keep in mind the fact that he hasn’t even been Tottenham’s head coach for a year yet, with this being his first full season in North London.
That’s a key bit of context and if anything, Conte, who replaced Nuno Espirito Santo last November, did himself no favours by miraculously leading the Lilywhites to Champions League qualification last season.
Perhaps that achievement offered a false sense of how fast his project was coming together.
But there is a lot of work to do and he’s one of the best around to oversee a project like this.
