Jack Wilshere has lavished praise on Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta.
The former England international is back at London Colney in a coaching capacity, working as Under-18 boss after hanging up his boots during the summer.
And Wilshere has admitted that he has never seen senior Arsenal training at the level as it is now, even when he was playing under Arsene Wenger in North London.
He told talkSPORT: “He [Arteta] is someone who actually inspired me to be a coach. I always thought about coaching but saw the way he coached and the level of detail he goes into is top. For me to learn from and watch him and learn things by him is really good. I’ve never seen first-team training at that level.”

Arteta, who earns around £160,000 per week [The Sun], is garnering quite a lot of plaudits this season and honestly, rightly so.
It’s getting close to the Spaniard’s three-year point as Arsenal manager and a large chunk of that has been spent taking criticism.
The Emirates Stadium outfit haven’t got back in the Champions League under Arteta, prompting frustration from the fanbase.
But this time around, Arsenal are two points clear at the top of the Premier League standings and are likely to stay there throughout the World Cup.
Forget about a top-four finish; Arteta’s side look to be in the race for a title this season and it’s no surprise that he’s inspiring other coaches – including Wilshere – at London Colney.
