Tim Spiers has said on the Ornstein and Chapman podcast that Wolves are conducting a full interview process into appointing their next boss.
Wolves’ strategy has been heavily influenced by super agent Jorge Mendes in the past.
However, it seems that Fosun are determined to look at all their managerial options on the table after parting company with Nuno.
Wolves have apparently attracted some big name bosses in the past two days.
And Spiers says that Wolves will now be conducting multiple interviews, as they look determined to get the right man.
“I think the focus from what i’m told is that it’s not just going to be Mendes presenting a list of three Portuguese managers, who may or may not be out of work,” Spiers said.
“There is going to be an actual managerial appointment and an interview process going on here.
“I’ve been told they have attracted some big names in the past 48 hours who have expressed an interest in the job.”
Whoever takes over from Nuno at Molineux certainly has big boots to fill.
Nuno took Wolves up from the Championship and established them as a solid Premier League side.
The emotion after his departure from Wolves fans, showed just how highly is regarded at the Midlands club.
Wolves have struggled at times this season, but Raul Jimenez’s injury was a major factor behind that, as the club didn’t have a goalscoring back-up striker.
The Telegraph report that Bruno Lage is the first manager who will join Wolves for talks in the coming days, but it seems that plenty more will follow soon, as their managerial search goes on.
