Ivan Toney has told Declan Rice on his Instagram ‘let’s go bro’ after the West Ham United midfielder is set to embark on his first World Cup with England.
One of the big talking points from Gareth Southgate’s 26-man squad was Brentford hitman Ivan Toney missing out on that final squad that will be heading to Qatar later this month.
Newcastle United striker Callum Wilson was the man selected behind captain Harry Kane, which is a crying shame for Toney because he was part of the most-recent Three Lions squad and his performances have been outstanding this season.

Nonetheless, Toney will be cheering on his nation from the sidelines as they try to right the wrongs of Euro 2020.
One key figure will be Rice in the middle of the park, and as he embarks on his first World Cup, he stated on Instagram ‘words can’t describe the feeling of being selected’.
Ravel Morrison congratulated him in the comments section, whilst Liverpool goalkeeper Adrian told him that his call is ‘well deserved’ and Tottenham fan AJ Tracey labelled him ‘legendary’.
RICE AND BELLINGHAM MIDFIELD
At Euro 2020, it was Rice and Kalvin Phillips that played alongside each other and produced exceptional performances.
But now, Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham has pushed ahead of the Manchester City man.
Those two will no doubt start England’s opening group game against Qatar, it’s just a case of what formation Southgate will push for and who else will join the duo in midfield.
