Liverpool take on Barcelona tonight.

Jurgen Klopp manager

Liverpool visit Barcelona tonight looking to showcase their attacking force and score an away goal.

Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic is eyeing a big result for the home side instead.

Rakitic was speaking ahead of tonight’s Champions League semi-final.

Quoted by TMW, he was asked about the ideal result, and spoke optimistically.

He said: “Winning of course. The ideal would be to win 5-0, but I understand that it will be complicated.

“We must score and stay balanced trying not to concede a goal.”

Barcelona have barely been troubled in the Champions League so far and have a strong record against English teams.

Liverpool are a far bigger threat than Manchester United this season and are better organised defensively.

A 5-0 loss for Liverpool would be a disaster for the Reds, but it is not very likely.
