Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic is on the radars of both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur ahead of a possible cut-price move during this month’s transfer window.

The Mirror report that Chelsea are eyeing Perisic as a potential signing at left wing back with Thomas Tuchel desperate for another option.

Ben Chilwell is out for the season and Perisic could offer another option to compete with Marcos Alonso down the Chelsea left.

Chelsea are far from alone in the hunt for Perisic though, as it’s claimed that both Arsenal and Chelsea have ‘shown an interest’ in the Croatian.

Perisic is out of contract this summer and it’s understood that Inter will consider cut-price bids this month before Perisic leaves for nothing.

That stance is understandably attracting interest, with the London trio seemingly eyeing up a bargain this month.

Tottenham links absolutely make sense given that Perisic worked under Antonio Conte at Inter.

Best known as a winger, Perisic did play as more of a wing back under Conte and can play on both sides.

Adama Traore seems to be Tottenham’s top target at right wing back, but Perisic has history with Conte and can be signed on the cheap.

Conte called Perisic an ‘excellent player’ with ‘outstanding physical strength’ during their time together at Inter.

You can therefore understand why Conte may fancy reuniting with Perisic at Tottenham, even if he is on the wrong side of 30 at 32.

Links to Arsenal a little more strange.

Arsenal don’t play with wing backs, so Perisic would likely be seen as an out-and-out winger under Mikel Arteta.

The Gunners already have the likes of Bukayo Saka, Nicolas Pepe, Emile Smith Rowe and Gabriel Martinelli who can play out wide.

Adding a 32-year-old winger just doesn’t make sense for Arsenal, as they would be sinking big wages into a player who wouldn’t be first-choice.

If Perisic comes to London, Chelsea or Tottenham make much more sense than Arsenal, with the Croatian a wanted man.
